Privacy

PorygonDB is a free, non-commercial fan project run by Lewis Gorman-Neale. There are no accounts, no ads, no cookies and no tracking across other sites. This page explains the small amount of data involved in running it.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see roughly where visitors come from (referrer, country, browser and device type). It doesn't use cookies, and visitors are only distinguished by a hash of request details that resets every day, so it can't recognise you over time or across sites.

The site is hosted by Vercel, which processes standard request information (such as your IP address, browser and the page requested) to serve the site and protect it from abuse.

Your browser loads Pokémon data directly from PokéAPI and sprites from GitHub (raw.githubusercontent.com). Like any website, those services receive your IP address and browser details when your browser requests them, under their own privacy policies. Fonts are served from this site, not from Google.

Your theme choice, your saved teams and your place in long lists are kept in your browser's local and session storage. They never leave your device unless you choose to export a team or share a link. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.

Team share links contain the team itself in the address, so anyone you give the link to can see it, and like any page address it passes through our hosting provider's logs.

PorygonDB is an unofficial fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures or The Pokémon Company. Pokémon and all related names and images are trademarks and © of their respective owners.

Because we don't collect anything that identifies you, there's usually nothing for us to access or delete, but you're welcome to ask. If you have a question or concern, please get in touch via lewisgormanneale.com/about. If you're in the UK you can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office.
